Solution: Low Profile Mount
Fleet Size: 2400
Units
Time Frame: 2003
LEDCO
provided the mounting solutions and installations
for the NYPD's in-vehicle laptops. NYPD is running
one of the most complex communication systems in
Public Safety. LEDCO's systems are core to this system.
The project which started in July 2003 proceeded
flawlessly and ahead of schedule with a completion
in spring of 2004. This was an aggressive time period
for 2400 vehicles that could not be out of service
for more than 48 hours. Airbag safety was a huge
concern as this police force typically runs shifts
with two-officers per vehicle.
